26 years of improving learning around the world

It started in 1984 with just the two of us, working at home from a space in the back bedrooms with just a few schools.

Emails, CDs, mobile phones, video conferences, text messages and memory sticks were all in the future.

In many ways it is different, now. There are, of course, more colleagues working with us. We work in more than 60 countries around the world with hundreds of schools. The back bedroom desks have long disappeared.

But in some ways, it is still the same. Just as it was 26 years ago, it is all about helping teachers and schools improve the learning of children and students; about improving our own learning; and about bringing together great people with a passion for learning, worldwide.
